Nic Hamilton is a visual artist, creating unique images, videos, animations and installations. His work is practice-led and informed by architecture, software, nature, online and underground music culture. He operates commercially as Blackout Group and is a founding member of the international creative agency, ONE. He’s made work with artists including J Colleran, Bok Bok and Kelela, SOPHIE, Hudson Mohawke and Bauuer, and has collaborated on a series of live projects with Actress, including a large format 3 screen work he created with the London Contemporary Orchestra, which was presented at the Barbican.
He has also worked with brands including Red Bull, Kenzo, Y3, Apple Beats, Adidas, Puma, Nike and Warp Records. Alongside his art practice he was Director of the visualisation studio Squint/Opera Australia before founding Studio Magnified and its sister creative technology business Unsigned Studio which were both acquired by Aurecon in March 2017.
